libstoragemgmtd software package provides library for storage array management - daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstoragemgmtd
libstoragemgmtd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstoragemgmtd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstoragemgmtd *
You will get with libstoragemgmtd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
